AQUA SOCKS UPDATE

Enamoured by this Opal sock yarn, I haven't worked on anything else for a few days.

Addi turbos = speedy socks.

I didn't do anything special at the beginning of the sock to make this happen. I'm not that smart.

I tinked back the toe three times, so it was just right.

I always look so forward to what other knitters have on the needles.

Joining Ginny & Tami on this Happy Hump Day!

Later!

  2. I am also working a sock in Opal. I love your colorway; what is it? I find that Opal socks are incredibly durable, too.

    1. Its German. Label says " In Variation nach Hundertwassers Werk 179 Autobus-Fenster". I bought 4 skines of different Hundterwasser series yarns from a Canadian vendor on Etsy: IquitosFineFibers. Priced inexpensively, but the Candian shipping is pricey.

  3. Great colors! I converted to magic loop last year and bought my first pair of Addi Sock Rockets this year--LOVE them! So much fun to knit socks with, huh?

    1. Yep! Pretty sure I won't go back to DPN's any time soon. I like ChaioGoo's Red Lace Circulars too.

  6. So far I've only read of people loving Opal yarns. I'll have to try it out for my next sock weight project.

    Your socks are looking beautiful!
